babysitter/nanny service

Hi everyone!  My husband and I recently welcomed our first child, a little girl- Leah, on December 31st.  She is now almost 9 weeks old and we are looking for a babysitter or nanny service to set us up with a babysitter (for occasional mom and dad dates out of the house!) since we do not have any family in Michigan (we are originally from Florida and we only just moved here last year).  Does anyone have any recommendations? I found "A+ Nannies Inc" online but of course I don't want to hire someone blindly.  Any advice??  Thanks!

    We think we've finally found the right nanny for us through www.care.com. We tried nannies4hire and craigslist, but care gave us the most right fit candidates.
