What will you wear after c-section

What will you wear after your c-section at the hospital?  With my first son I didn't know I was going to have a c-section so I just wore their gowns.  However, I was really uncomfortable the whole time.  I'm not a nightgown kinda girl.  I feel most comfortable and put together in lounge pants and tanks (will take nursing tanks).  But with DS1 the nurses came in frequently to change my paddings and all that stuff.  Will the pants just be a hassle for them?  How many outfits do you plan to take?  I'm assuming I'll be there about 3 days.  Hopefully no longer.

  • I changed as quickly as I could.  They only had to check the incision a couple of times.  I put some loose pjs on and wore yoga pants to go home.

  • I wore my loose fitting yoga pants while I was still in the hospital. They were loose enough for them to check my incision and didn't get in the way.

  • I plan to take some comfy pj pants.  I don't like gowns either.  I'm more concerned about my comfort than I am their convenience. :)

  • When i was able to get the cath taken out, i changed into tanks and pjs and stayed like that for the duration of my stay. Will probably do the same this time around.
  • I plan on wearing a few night gowns of my own and possibly some loose fiting yoga pants. Nothing too nice, though. Last time they gave me vitamin k shots in my sides and I got blood on my gown.I think a gown would be the easiest all around.

  • I have a nursing night gown with a light robe for the first day after they take out the cath. After that Im bringing a nursing tank and loose pj pants.
  • PJ and yoga pants all the way!

  • Hmmmm...I would figure that pants would be more of a pain to deal with.  Maybe I'll take a pair of comfy pj bottoms but I think I'll still take a one piece night gown thingie.  I overheat pretty easily and so having exposed legs might be a good idea for me.  I usually have to have one leg under the blanket and one out.  I guess I'm just weird.  Hee hee.
  • I lived in my yoga pants and nursing tanks after having my c-section.

  • my c/s w/my DD was unplanned too (DS is a planned c/s);  I'm just doing what I did before--using the hosp gowns;  it's just easier (esp w/all the checking they do) and I dont have to worry about packing alot or doing wash when I get home.  So, I'll bring a going home outfit, my robe and a nursing gown I just bought.  For the most part I expect to be in the johnnies
