  It will get easier and is probably harder on you than him.  For the first two weeks I called twice a day to check on the girls.  Now I just drop them off, kiss them goodbye and out the door I go.  I know the ladies taking care of them are wonderful with them.  And the smiles I get when I pick them up are priceless.  It will get easier for you!

  My coping mechanism is that DH drops M. off in the morning. I had to take him this morning...and walking away sucked. So. Badly. Honestly, being the one who picks him up (instead of dropping him off) makes it a teensy bit better. But I still hate it.

  I was off for 3 months and at first I enjoyed being at work and getting out but lately I miss DS more and more.  Basically it gets easier b/c I know he loves daycare and playing with the other kids.
