It's my first preg but I can't say that I've felt anything that I would call BH (going off how others say it feels). It's possible I'm having them & just don't know it though.
I noticed a "heavy" feeling in my lower abdomen a few weeks ago and just thought the baby was sitting low. I told my midwife about this last week and she said that feeling was a BH contraction. Since then I have had a few more plus a bigger BH contraction at night that actually sort of hurt and felt uncomfortable.
I never noticed them with my first pregnancy, but apparently I was having them when I had an NST at 41 weeks. It turned out that I was confusing them with baby's movement; to me, it felt like baby was pushing her whole body up against my belly.
This time, I knew what they felt like and first noticed them at 31.5 weeks.

I'm not sure I would know what they are, if I DID have them. What do they feel like?
I never felt them with DD, just really short of breath for a few minutes at a time several times a day, even when I wasn't more active. This pregnancy, I have even hardly had that.
