similac alimentum = gassy baby?

has anyone noticed that their baby is extremely gassy on alimentum? if so, and you switched formula, what did you switch to?

    We just switched to alimentum (for a milk allergy), a week ago. I've noticed she's a lot less gassy actually. Burps less and farts almost never (but still normal bowel movements). Other than the smell, and the cost, I love alimentum.

    PS Equivalent to Alimentum is Nutramigen, but I dont know what is the same or different about them.
