6 week old how much formula

Last night my LO took 5ounces and then slept for 6 hours straight. I guess she needed that! We have been feeding her about 4 ounces and she takes that with no problem but eats about every 3 hours during the day. Do you think 5 ounces is alot? I am wondering if I should now increase her ounces at each feeding?Just curious to know what evryone elses LO eats? thanks

    Mine was drinking 4 oz then too, still is. Shes sleeps for 5 hour stretches at night (most nights). I tried regularly and she wont eat it all...if shes longer like today she went from 3 to 9 with out eating, I'll give her 5 and she'll drink it.

    My LO has been taking 6 oz for the past 2wks or so ... He goes 4 hrs between feedings during the day & 6 hrs at night!!!  But I had a big boy -- I don't know if that has anything to do with how much he eats!!

    My DD eats 4 ounces and she usually eats every 4 hours during the day and at night she'll sleep for about 5-51/2 hours before she wants to be fed again.
