First time after m/c

So i had a natural miscarriage just over a week ago.. I was only 6 weeks along, so for me it wasn't painful at all. Just some bleeding for a couple of days. Anyway DH and I had sex last night and I was crying in pain. Anyone else experience this?

    Did your Dr. tell you to wait longer?  I also had a natural m/c but my Dr. told me to wait 3 weeks to let my body heal completely.

    My MW said no sex for one full cycle.  I would call your doctor just to be safe.  Feel better!!

    Oh, I am sorry. My DH told us to wait 3 weeks before having sex again. I had a d&c though. I didn't feel ready emotionally though either. I would probably wait a few weeks and then try again. GL>

    no - she never told me anything along those lines at all.

    She just said that since it was so early that since i wasn't in pain from the m/c i should be fine.. which is weird.

    My doctor told me the same thing.

    OP: Don't worry- just wait. If, after 3 weeks to a month, it hurts again, then that would be the time to be concerned. Our bodies are still getting over what happened to them, honey!

    I was told to wait until after my follow-up appt. on March 12th, which would put me at full month since my natural m/c.  It's crazy that your doc didn't tell you to wait longer.

    My dr. told us that we didn't have to wait to have sex but to use a condom.  It wasn't painful for me physically but I did cry the first time we did it after the m/c...don't really know why, just crazy emotions I guess.

    Our doctor told us to wait 2 weeks (post D&C though, not natural m/c).

    I'm sorry you had so much pain - we found it emotionally challenging, but no pain.  Good luck!

    Doc said nothing to us about not having sex or waiting.  I had a natural miscarriage about a week and a half ago. We had sex today and had no problems.  I wasn't even 5 weeks along though.  I have to go in tomorrow for blood work, so maybe I will bring it up if I get to see the doc.   
    TTC Child #1 Sept '08, Dx: Unexplained, DOR 2 IUI's = BFN, m/c, IVF 1 = 0 embies to put back, IVF 2 = BFN, IVF 3 = cancelled, IVF 4 = BFP with 1 embie. Our son came into our life on 9/28/11. We are in love! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

    I had a D&C and was told nothing in the vagina for at least two weeks.  I was like "what was that 2 months...ok"   My boyfriend didn't find that as funny as I did.  I would wait at least another week before trying again.  When you have a m/c your cervix is open and it takes a while for it to fully close which leaves you at high risk for infection.  That is the reason the doctor gave me for the two week waiting time.

    Same here.. so hard.  

    Natural m/c 12/24/09. IUI #1 BFN. IUI #2 Chemical. IUI #3 BFN. Diagnosis MFI. IVF #1 BFP. Adriana 4/11/12.

    I had a m/c 2/20 at 12 weeks and the dr. said to wait till my next dr. visit in 6 weeks to have sex.

    My natural m/c was about 1 week ago and my Dr. said to wait 2 weeks to have sex. I was 7 weeks along when it happened.

    Just the thought of having sex again makes me emotional, so I'm glad to know its not just me.
