Intro and question....

Hi !

I have posted a few times, but never introduced myself.  

I live with my husband on the North Shore.  We are currently TTC for our first while we house hunt.  

I am working on a budget to make sure we have all of our finances in line should a little blessing come along...  My question is- How much do you curently pay for daycare ?  I would be working full time 5 days/week.  Daycare would prefferably be north of the city.

    I'm a SAHM because the daycare thing was more of a hassle than a help for us, but when I was looking into daycare around here (south shore) 4 full days a week, it was around $2550/month. Around the city, it was more. I'm guessing North Shore would be similar to here, but don't know for sure.

    I've been looking around, and it's aroudn $2400-2600/mo for Full Time at Bright Horizons in Cambridge/Boston.  We also looked at a Kindercare in Melrose that was ~$1600/mo for full time.  Others have been around that amount.   The waiting lists are LONG and unpredictable, so it's best to look early, get on some lists, and worry about it later.
