anyone have what they thought was full on af and still end up pg?

wondering if anyone has had this happen and if so what ended up prompting you to test?

That "I didn't know I was pg" show made me think of this.

No......But the first month we tried to TTC I got my period (Like full on, normal) and I still thought there was a chance I could be pregnant.

But I was just in denial and a little excited....but was absolutely not pregnant lol...

I didn't, but my mom did when she was pregnant with me. She said it was a full on normal lenght period, however the cramps were even more intense then usual (which were all ready pretty bad as we know they can be). Of course, back then they calculated your due date based soley on your last period and not by doing ultrasounds or any other kind of measurement. Needless to say, I arrived a month earlier then I was expected though I was full term. So, having a period is very possible.

I had period like bleeding at 6 weeks and 15 weeks w/ DS...but it wasn't that consistent every 28 days like some say it occurs. I obviously knew I was pg also.

I didn't test until I was a full week late for AF. I had the boob tenderness and cramps that always came before or during AF. As it turned out, boob tenderness (and lack of AF) has been my ONLY symptom this whole time. I never got sick or overly tired at all. If I was still getting what seemed like AF, I wouldn't have noticed until I could feel my firm ute and feel the baby kicking.

With my DD I had what I thought was a full on AF... it was horrible and painful- and I was in tears from it. It was a bit dif though- VERY dark, VERY heavy.

Turns out I was PG, but the doctors think it could have been a twin miscarrying, or very heavy implantation bleeding.

I did when I was pg w/my son. My cycles had been all over the place once I went off of BC, so I didn't think anything of it when it seemed lighter than normal. I had really, really bad cramps leading up to what I thought was my period, then for the 2 weeks after. I knew something was up and when I Googled "cramps" or whatever, the first several hits mentioned pregnancy. I really did not think I was pregnant, and even laughed off the pregnancy test, until the plus sign came up.
