awww...i had PPD with my first., so i know how you are feeling. hang in there! it will pass...just make sure you plan something that you can look forward to everyday...it really helped me out. and get out of the house as soon as you can, even if its just a quick drive around.
Hang in there! I have cried off and on since LO was born, fortunately they are fewer and far between than when she was first born. I agree with pp and try to do or plan something fun every day, even if its just a walk around the block or phoning a friend. Don't be afraid to say something to your dr too, meds work very well and that's what they are there for!
I see you are in Houston? So am I!!

For the first 2 weeks, I cried on and off everyday. It's so overwhelming being a new mom, and totally normal. Hang in there, your hormones will calm down and you'll feel better. If you're still not feeling better after a few weeks, then definitely talk to your OB about it.
Its taken me about 10 days to start feeling better...the first week was hell...I have been taking st. johns wart so maybe thats helping? being with my friends and family helps...but the first couple outings with my family where hard...i think its hard because your used to things a certain way and now with the little one its ALL SO MUCH HARDER! i feel your pain, just keep your chin up and dont be scared to ask for help, from family or friends or your doc!
