Spent night at Children's Hospital
Little man had a horrendous reaction to milk-based formula. Back in Dec, he was having rashes, which got better when I eliminated dairy (still giving mostly BM then and Alimentum . So we thought he probably had a milk allergy, but the tests aren't reliable at this age and the pedi said at his 6 mos visit that lots of babies have skin issues at 4 mos, so give milk-based formula a try.
Within 10 mins of taking 2 oz, his lip was huge and he started coughing and puking as I was getting him into his car seat. So scary! We called 911 then. He never got to the point where he wasn't breathing, but his airway was inflamed and he developed welts all over.
He's much better today. Wiggly and busy, as usual. Hopefully we won't have to spend too long here today.
