So, my sister is getting married In DECEMBER...I'm her MOH. She wanted to go dress shopping for BM dresses this weekend. I would have loved to go, but I was a bit tied up. You know, sick kid in the hosptial and all. So she went anyway. And chose a dress. Without me. Without my mom. With just her FSIL and FMIL. And she can't possibly figure out why either of us would be hurt by that. Really? You can't have waited ONE weekend??? I mean, i get she's excited, I really do. I'm beyond thrilled for her! But come on. ONE weekened was too much to ask?
Sorry, vent over. I'm just so...UGH. Anyway. Vent over.
Re: Selfish much?
probably. It would be a different story if she hadn't made a big fuss about wanting us to chose the dress...but whatever. I'll put on whatever silly dress she choses and she knows that. I do LOL at her assertation that we can "wear it again". What bride doesn't say that? And I've yet to have it be true! Hahaha
I would probably be annoyed too, bc of the fact it's your sister and you're the MOH- you want to share in the fun of picking out a dress too!
That being said, I was a BM in a cousin's wedding and she just picked out the dress all by herself, emailed us a picture and said "This is what you're wearing". Honestly, I loved it! I would have worn anything she wanted, so that was fine with me. And I have worn the dress countless times since the wedding.
