Pediatrician or Daycare recommendations?

Hiya! Thought I'd take the good old fashioned word-of-mouth way to start my search for a reputable Pediatrician or Daycare facility in the Philadelphia area. We live in Fairmount, so pretty much all of center city and city line area are easily accessible to us. I also work in Conshohocken, so if anyone has reccomendations for that neighborhood as well, I'm all ears!

    We use one in Drexel Hill so it may be out of the way for you.

     One thought is to call the hospital you plan on using to see who they use (or which practices go there). 

    DCMM has DHPA doctors that visit the babies each day.  DHPA checked on DC each day since birth.  It so happened that a good friend of mine highly recommened DHPA and it worked out.

     

    if you need a place to start .. that's an option.

    We see Dr. Berger at Center City Pediatrics at 17th & South.  He is great!  His partner, Cynthia Warren, is also really good.  I actually found his practice through another recommendation on the Bump.

    As for Daycare, DD goes to Alphabet Academy near Passyunk & Dickinson.  It's a pretty big facility, but clean and affordable.  And the ladies who work there really care about the kids.

    I second Center City Pedi. ?We recently moved out to DelCo and I love the practice so much I`m keeping DS there and just making the 20 min. drive.?

    Dr. Maureen McMahon at Lankenau is fantastic, and not too far from you.  She is part of Nemours Pediatrics - Lankenau.
