Why can't someone just deliver me some cake????

Seriously I'd make a ton of money opening a delivery service specializing in pregnancy cravings... just call and we will deliver.

i want cake right now.....

    um, I second that! I'm craving butter cake with milk chocolate buttercream! I have an amazing recipe (sp?) from scratch, but I'm too dang lazy to clean up the mess it makes! (and I'm afraid I'll eat every single cupcake!)

    Seriously... I'd keep all the staples on hand- pickles, icecream, fruit, cookies.... and then have a special order sevice......

    I was just telling DH I want tomato basil wheat thins, chips and salsa and a bag of reeses peanut butter cups...all at the same time. 

    This is the first time I've really craved something!

    come on over. We just had german chocolate cake for DH's grandma's bday
    TTC #3 with PCOS. Long cycles, ovulate about 4-5 times a year Married 6/9/07 DS 7/15/08 Met RE 12/08 DD 6/2/10

    ok so I don't have eggs, so I can't make my cupcakes...so I'm having to settle for a honey bun and Chips Ahoy Chunk Peanut Butter cookies...and it's not even close!  Angry

    This is so wrong, after I watched my husband and mom both eat dessert and that's ALL I WANT! Starbucks used to have a white cake with lemon icing and white chocolate swirls, TO.DIE.FOR. but I don't think they carry it anymore, that's all I want RIGHT NOW.

    This is why you would need the pregnant delivery service!

    I'd call it "Eating for Two"

    You would call and say I want cupcakes and I would send a driver to the store and deilver you cupcakes!

    Funfettie cake, delicious and a berry smoothie from costco.  I think a delivery service would be good idea and while they are dropping off food, they can bring someone to do my laundry.

    I know there are some services in bigger cities like LA and New York that deliver all sorts of stuff. DH lived in LA briefly and he said they don't deliver anything and everything but lots of stuff. I have always thought it would be awesome to expand that and deliver literally anything you can get at any store or restaurant. Like, you pay someone to go to the drive-thru or whatever for you. Or in this case, go to a bakery of your choice and get you a cake :)

    In England the grocery store there delivers your food to your house... I'd be in heaven to never have to drag 3 kids to the grocery store again.

    Do you have a Kroger? They sell cake in a package of two slices with two forks :D Kroger cake is actually REALLY good.

    Not in my suburb but beaumont has about 3!

    My sister used to run a service around christmas called 'christmas elves'.

    Her employees would do whatever you needed help with- wrapping presents, baking, shopping, babysitting, errands to let you get other things done, etc. It was really successful for about four years and then she got busy with her own!
    Maybe someone should start something called 'mommy's helpers' or something that can pick up food at 2 am, or do all the cleaning/laundry so mom can focus on baby and sleep. Dial a Nanny?

    lolz that would be soooo lovely! esp since i live in milwaukee where there is SNOW! && i HATE it but i wish Mc donalds had delivery! YUM! =P
