Intro and question

Hello ladies!

This is my first time on the Boston Babies board. As a quick intro, I am 27, work in higer education and live in Somerville. DH and i have been married since October 2007 but been together 7 years.

DH and I are planning on TTCing come summer time and are trying to get our budget plan in order. Our biggest concern is the cost of daycare.

Unfortunately, with our mortgage for our condo in the Davis Sq. area of Somerville I cannot be a SAHM and will have to return to work after my 3 months of FMLA. We will have to do day care.

I assume that Somerville is crazy expensive being so city-ish. I work in Beverly and DH works in Waltham. Does anyone use daycare in those areas that could recommend some places I should look at? We want to start looking early in case there are waiting lists.

 I appreciate any thoughts or recomendations! <3

    I'm a big fan of Bright Horizons... they aren't cheap, but the quality is amazing, and they are almost everywhere! Also, they have great drop-in care if you need it. Say your child is enrolled in Waltham, but you need to bring him/her to Beverly one day... it doesn't change the amount you pay as long as you list it as a possible center you'll use.
