While I don't know the specifics of 0-3 anymore, yes I agree with you 100%. I have avoided 0-3, 3-6, etc since I had my baby. It's just not healthy, the amount of drama that happens there is sick and disturbing to me.
However, please be careful assuming this is a safe place to vent about other boards. There is a particular person that lurks on this board that provides info from this board to the national boards, just for kicks or to try and feel "popular", I don't know. I think it's pathetic personally. Most of the regulars here are great women, but not all. So, just a word of advice.
Hmm good to know. I totally just committed Bump suicide on 0-3 but I really don't care. There are some mean chicks over there. Done.
Yeah I went over and read your post cause I was curious! LOL Don't worry about it. You will find other boards are WAY more welcoming and friendly, and not catty or biitchy at all. I worry about people that are THAT over-invested in a message board, to have to make another internet page, to talk about the Bump. Really? Don't you have friends in real life?
I hate that some of the boards are that way! I usually only post on here and 2nd Tri for the time being, but agree with the other post that venting on any of these boards is not always "safe" - folks will give you there opinion whether you are actually asking for it or not. The anonymity of the postings makes the claws really come out sometimes!
I had posted a vent about student loans on 2nd Tri a while back and got a "stern talking to" by many of the ladies telling me I needed to go back to budgeting 101 and was stupid to think I could defer or make arrangments with my loan company while I was on maternity leave...I was shocked at the responses! I had specifically posted it as a VENT and mentioned that I have paid on time for the past 4 years payments totaling over $30,000. I am 30 years old, an attorney and very conscious of my budget, thank you very much! I thought it was a good thing to look into my loan options at 3 1/2 months pregnant, but most of the responses I got implied that I was an idiot that didn't know how to manage her money...I don't really know why or what they got out of responding that way was.

FWIW, I think you can defer your student loan payments, having a baby is a "life event" and you might be able to defer for up to a year.
Sorry ppl are being mean to you. But it is a public message board and people get carried away sometimes. Don't try and take it too personally. Also, don't assume this is a safe haven. People can find you pretty easily. If they click on your name they can see the last few posts you made, or you can just google anything on the Nest. It's kind of scary really. But mostly I think it's just immaturity on other people's part. What was the post on 0-3 about?

No, not mean to me. Just bullying other girls on the boards. Stupid really.
Well....FWIW, I think you're really awesome and super sweet and have the most adorable little baby girl. (Even with milk running down her face she's cute! HAHA) You're a "cool kid" as far as I'm concerned!
I know what you mean. I went to the TTGP board and they pretty much just made fun of me. Why do ppl have to do that? Do they get a thrill out of it? Make themselves feel better?
I go on there to ask questions and I get beat down. Sucks.

Aw thanks. Right back at ya!
I am not part of the club either. I post over on 0-3 but find that PAL is my "home" board and I get a lot of support over there.
FWIW I think you are really sweet. You always respond to my posts with kindness and are never snarky.
