I'm looking for recommendations of good doulas that work in Delaware County (I'm delivering at Lankenau). Ideally I'm not looking for someone super "earth-mothery" or overly touchy-feely. Just someone who knows their sh** and will be able to coach me through labor, hopefully keep me med-free, and be my advocate with the med staff in the hospital.
TIA!
Re: Doula rec's in Delco?
I decided to go with Christina Duff at Well Born Baby.

If you're looking for other recommendations, try the DONA website for a general listing or give the area birth center a call:

Also, The Family Birth Mark in Media has doula connections:

best of luck!
Congrats on your pregnancy and searching for a doula! They (we) can really make a difference in the birth experience - I am speaking from my own experience of having one.
I am a newer doula, just got a website going - and I found your post actually because I searched my business name, "Delco Doula" to see if it popped up on google and got here where I recently became a member to jump into pregnancy and birth discussions with some local moms and moms to be! haha! So funny I was trained through Birth Arts International, and have a few births under my belt in addition to my own two. Here's my info:
