So I'm thinking I might go to them for a cake for H's b-day. They are downtown, and hubby freaked out about driving that far with a cake.
Are they worth the drive? will the cake hold up from downtown to round rock?
I see the cakes are reasonable before 'fancy stuff' is added. Anyone get the fancy stuff added and have some price ranges for me?
Re: Polkadot cupcakes...
Don't worry about the cake making it, it'll be fine. H's 1st party cake came from Dallas.
That same friend is transporting 4 cakes down here from there on Saturday morning for the sugar art show.
DH also picked up DD's 2nd party cake from S Austin, and that was fine too. He's not even an experienced cake transporter.
our wedding cake and grooms cake came from Houston the morning our of wedding.
yummmmm. cupcakes sound delish right now...

I love love love Polkadot's cupcakes! The owners are so great and really easy to work with. Have you thought about having them deliver it for you? The delivered 36 dozen to different customers in Austin for me during Christmas time.

I didn't think about delivery. usually being outside of austin= per mile charge and that can add up quickly. I'll have to ask them tomorrow
