  We had our first BPP yesterday and both babies scored 8/8 and my cervix was 3.4 cm and closed.

  All the tips on feeding 2 at once I have gotten here have been wonderful.

  I'm almost to 34 weeks!! AHH! I'm so excited. After battling this low fluid business forever and now dealing with cramping and back pain in addition to these BHs and spending a night and day in L&D this week, my OB has decided that we will play this all by ear and to be prepared at any appointment to either get my c/s date or to go to the hospital.

  I have an apointment on Saturday and Monday for a BPP and to check their fluid levels. I've got 3 shots all together for their lungs, so I'm confident now that we've done all we can do. And I just have to stay in bed.

  QOTD: Hmmmm...good advice? haha, that seems hard to come by with me for twins. All I feel I've been getting is from singleton moms who are bashing me for being excited to have made it 34 weeks and excited if my twins can make it 35 weeks because "they will be so small! you will hate it!".....blah. oh well, I've tried to ignore it all the best I can.

  My best advice is probably from my own family (none of which have multiples) when they tell me "it's going to be okay if you just have to step outside on the porch and cry for a minute" lol, can't wait!

  Update:  I am scheduled to be induced on Monday (March 1st)!!!  Soooo excited

  QOTD:  The best advice I think I received was actually in one of the books I read - it went over kind of the psychological aspect of raising twins as opposed to the general aspect.  It was full of things I had not considered and that's why I think it was the best advice.

  Update: E has IUGR. I have pre-e. These babies are coming early for sure. We're aiming for 36w.

  Question: How about the best offers? I have cousins, aunts, sister, SIL, friends, and mothers offering to help me out. The best part? I know each and every one of them WILL follow through and I love them.

  We were supposed to do dinner tonight but I am on strict bedrest so the girls (aunts and cousins) are coming over here with the food and we are having a girls night.

  update: feeling better after my trip to L&D earlier this week - no major contractions, just little infrequent ones. feeling pretty tired and having trouble breathing today

  QOTD: probably the advice to get Dr. Luke's book, but then not to stress too much about her strict requirements.

  I am feeling good for the most part.. I can just feel the extra weight on me which makes it hard to even get up most days! 

  Best advice?  Well, I am a twin myself and I know what it is like to have newborns so i think i am at least a little prepared.  For now, i think the best advice is to get the EZ2Nurse pillow and have confidence that i can do it exclusively.. but, if it doesn't work out that i am not a bad Mom for supplementing!  These babies need to bake for at least another 10 weeks!

  Update: I'm almost at 36 weeks, my next "milestone," which is great.  I'm hoping to make it at least one more!  I got a stomach flu this week and had to be admitted for dehydration which was bringing on contractions, but after a couple of days of IV fluid, I'm feeling much better and the boys are doing fine.  I had a BPP in the hospital and they scored an 8/8 and a 6/8 and they look good.  So glad I didn't have them while I was feeling so sick and crossing my fingers that they have another week or two to hang out before making their appearance!

   Advice:  Lots of good advice on this board! 

  7/2009 - Gonal-F cycle #2 with Ovidrel trigger and IUI #5 - BFP! Twin boys born at 38 weeks 3 days! 8 months later...spontaneous BFP! And twins again!

  Updates: My second fFn came back negative! Baby B's kidneys are still dialated...my peri never said anything about it being a marker for downs and then I read that on the 2nd tri board so I'm freaking out a bit!

  Best advice: Stay positive and know that you're doing all that you can do!

  I made it to 2nd trimester yesterday and feel extremely relieved and excited.

  I scanned myself yesterday (along with another resident and our boss) and we think it's boy/girl twins.  We will see if our gender predictions hold true!  One definitely had junk in the trunk and the other did not.  But at 14 weeks.....it's still a toss up.

  I am shopping for cribs this weekend!!

  I had my 22 week appointment yesterday, and we talked about the mode of delivery.  Since A has only ever been breech, and considering the issues that I've had with my pelvis and back, we decided that I'll deliver via c-section.  It's all scheduled - I'll have my babies no later than Tuesday, June 8th at 8am!!!  It's kind of nice to have a goal date, and a light at the end of the tunnel - but at the same time it gives me a little anxiety. lol  Other than that, I'm just looking forward to my follow up anatomy scan on Monday.  My first one at 19 weeks was a little too early for them to see everything as detailed as they would have liked, so I get a do-over.

  QOTD:  While I obviously haven't been able to test/implement the advice yet, a friend told me she got a Pur water filter, that attached to her faucet.  That way, when she had to make up a bottle, she was able to use purified warm water from the tap and didn't have to mess with heating up a bottle.  Sounds pretty genius to me, so I picked myself up one.
