Easy Dessert?

I have to make a dessert for tonight. I'm not feeling inspired and just want to do something easy (without going to store).

Any suggestions? I'm wondering if I can do something different with this classic white cake mix besides making a cake or cupcakes?

    I know it's a cake, but so ridiculously yummy.

    Tres Leches Cake

    I like to do a cool whip & pudding frosting instead of the heavy regular frosting.

    You could do a trifle.  It sounds and looks fancy but is actually super easy.  Here is a link to a bunch of different ones.

    I don't have a recipe handy, but cookies made from cake mix are good!  I'm sure something would come up in google.

    I have a super easy dessert...not sure if u have all the ingredients but its pretty basic stuff. People love them!

     

    Mini Cheescakes

    12 vanilla wafers    16 oz cream cheese, softened.   1/2 cup sugar

    1 tsp vanilla    2 eggs

    Line muffin tin with foil liners. Place one vanilla wafer in each muffin cup. Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Pour over wafers. Bake at 325 for 20-25 min. Chill...can decorate with fruit, sprinkles, chocolate, etc.

    I guess my pantry was not as well stocked as I hoped. lol

    I decided on this Chocolate Chip Swirl Cake (and after it's done baking I hope to decide it really doesn't need frosting. lol)

    I will however be trying out some of your suggestions in the future!!! Yum.

    That looks good!  Do you have a container of cool whip and a package of pudding mix?  If you mix those together, they make a pretty tasty icing.
