first note, my doc said the following was ok since i haven't done anything really...
DH and i went to dinner at Tx Roadhouse (food was amazing!) they were busy as heck for a thursday nite but we were taken to a booth immediately. i go to try and sit down and WTF, i cannot get in the seat :-(
immediately i started crying. of course there are 2 long tables of pretty, skinny h.s. girls and they are like "aww" trying to be sympathetic.
i really almost died. the hostess (that didn't think to ask if we wanted to wait for a table...im not mad though) came and she was like "oh honey, would you like me to bring you a chair to set on the side of the booth?" um...yes. the whole meal was uncomfortable and awkward.
i was able to sit sideways but i could not fit with my belly...i am such a fat freakin cow
ok...the end.
Re: most embarrassing nite ever...
if you makes you feel any better... my FIL can't fit in a booth ever, one and he's not carrying ANY babies...
You're almost done - only days to go!!!

Oh, you poor thing! But you're not fat, your babies are! That's a good thing! Honestly I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have fit into a booth towards the end of either of my pregnancies and they were just one each. I'm sorry your dinner was awkward though
Oh darlin'--you're carrying TWINS! That happened to me while I was pregnant with Little Man (just one baby!), and just like you, I began bawling when I realized I couldn't fit in the booth. From that point on I insisted we only sit at tables. I recommend you do the same. Hang in there--you're in the homestretch!
**hugs**
AmethystBride stole my line! You're in the homestretch
you are carrying TWO babies! TWO BABIES! repeat that to yourself whenever you're feeling big.
and what kind of idiots work at the tx roadhouse? isnt it their JOB to seat people all day long? have they not figured out that not everyone fits in the booth? they should have put you at a table in the first place. idiots.
That happened to me when I was pregnant with Daniel. My friend (who was also pregnant and a due a month after me) and I went to a restaurant for dinner and the high-school boy who was the host tried to put us in a booth. Neither of us could fit. So he moved us to a table, then asked us if we'd like anything from the bar. Silly little boy.
Don't let this get to you. Like everyone else has pointed out, you're carrying not one, but TWO beautiful little babies! You're not fat; you're pregnant. You're way too special for a booth these days.
