I feel so stupid! (IUI#3 update)

So I went in today for the follie check and to find out when we will be doing the IUI. Good news is that I have a huge (biggest follie I have developed) follie at 20 on the right. Another 15 one on the right and a 16 one on the left. So we are triggering tonight and doing the IUI on Sunday.
Now for the part where I feel soooo incredibly stupid... The nurse was going over the IUI protocol with me and she mentioned the times in which I am suppose to trigger. Turns out that I was triggering way to early with the past 2 IUIs so they might not of worked b/c the timing was all off b/c I triggered too early. I feel so stupid.

You shouldn't feel stupid! Isn't that something your doc should have clarified with you before?
Shake that off! Now you have great follies and can think nothing but happy thoughts for this IUI!

really, don't feel stupid - this stuff is so confusing. I swear even though I went to their tutorial on injections, watched a video on line, and read the brochures like 12 times, I still second guess how I am doing the injection and if I'm measuring it right, blah blah blah. and HOW would you know you were doing it wrong? I blame them, not you, for not explaining it well enough.

It has to be somewhere from 6pm to midnight. DH wants us to trigger tonight at midnight so we can avoid being to early... I hope that it works. We were triggering at 4pm for the last iuis...
Ah yes, the 6-12pm time frame. I'm glad you have it figured out now.
That time frame always worked well for me since I never get home until after 6 or so now.

Don't feel stupid! I am so glad they went over the times with you this time, though, and didn't assume that since you have had 2 already, you knew!

Now why in the world would they have not told you exactly when to trigger on your previous IUIs?? You should in NO WAY feel stupid. It is their freakin job to tell you when to trigger (my RE told me the exact time). oh I that is so frustrating! But don't worry - this sounds like 3rd times the charm!

And don't beat yourself up over the timing of the trigger. ::hugs:: The nurse should always at least go over the info on the paperwork, even if she's done it a million times with you already.

As for the timing of the trigger... while frustrating, it's very promising for this cycle!

Don't feel stupid, all this crap is pretty darn confusing to begin with. I am hopeful that this IUI ends up in a BFP for you! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!! GL!!
