  Apparently  I go against the majority here, but I actually think it would be a cute girl's name.  Lots of classic boy or girl names have made the gender crossover in the past, so why not?  If you like it, go for it.

  Not at all.  The definition of the world pierce is pretty brutal for a boy's name to begin with.

  Boy names are boy names, and girl names are girl names. Please don't mix and match. Ever notice how names become unisex and then their popularity fades? For instance, how many Pats or Kellys or Morgans do you know that are under 30?
