iduction date set. very disappointed!

i had my 40 week appointment yesterday and the dr said an induction would be best.. YAYY! baby is finally coming! i was a little let down that i wasnt able to just set up the date/time right then and there but was still happy about finally talking about baby day. as i was walking out i passed the drs office where he was sitting at his desk filling out the paperwork and told the lady in the room with him to take the form out to me, which she did. she caught me in the hallway and gave it to me and said to take it to the front desk with me, i did. i ask the lady at the front desk what i was supossed to do next, dr didnt tell me anything, and she said to keep the form and bring it with me to the hospital when i go to be induced. ok fine. EXCEPT when i didnt hear from the scheduling dr today and decided to call and see what was going on she told me that i wasnt supossed to take the form with me, it should have been given to her to schedule everything. really? then why do i have it?! so i rushed to get there before she left her office for the day and when i met with her she said that if she had been given the form yesterday, when she was supossed to have recieved it to get everything in order, that i could have gotten the cream (to soften cervix) today and be induced tomorrow. so i COULD have been and SHOULD have been having my baby tomorrow!!!! so now they dont have a date until march 3. seriously?!?! so no february baby for me :( i was really looking forward to my feb love bug. so im hoping baby decides to just go ahead and come on her own. PLEASE baby girl, mommy will buy you a pony :)   LOL. so tomorrow i am going to walk around the mall for a couple hours, eat some mexican, and see if my boyfriend wants to try and help me get her moving ;) god, i hope so. im ready to meet her...NOW! but i cant believe this lady gave me the wrong info about what to do with the form...seriously, misinformed receptionists in the medical field could cause some serious issues! ugh. vent over.

    i asked if it could be done in feb at all and she said no bc they do not induce over the weekend :(

    Definitely call your Dr because they need to know of this screw up.

    First of all, I'd be seriously annoyed with the lack of professionalism & organization on your office's part. That's not acceptable.

    Secondly, maybe this is a sign and you'll go into labor on your own this weekend.

    What a bummer!!!! I got an induction date today of March 5th. I am trying everything too! I don't know if I can make it another week!

    You can make it, you won't die I promise LOL. I'd think about filing a complaint about their lack of organization. That's bull.
