  • My husband and I have a goal to lose weight by the end of April.  I'm going to try to lose 25 pounds and he wants to lose 20.  I've been drinking a lot of water (ok, more than I usually do) and I am not drinking soda during lent.  I've also been chewing gum (thanks Bob Harper!) instead of snacking and I've actually lost about 3 or 4 pounds since I started this (beginning of lent).

    I also love food.  So while I'm not eating better, I am trying to eat less.

  • I've been eating healthy and exercising since January 4th and I have lost 21.5 lbs so far. I Finished the Wii Active 30 Day Challenge and I'm halfway through the Wii Active More Workouts 6 Week Challenge.

    I have a lot of weight to lose but I am motivated. I do a check-in post on my blog every Monday and I think I'm going to post my actual numbers next Monday.
  • i have not even attempted to lose more even though i say i want to... i've been eating burgers & fries and chick-fil-a and other goodness and maintaining my weight. i'm not ready to give it all up again. haha. i do want to lose 10 more pounds though....
  • I have not been eating all that great (though still pretty much staying within my WW points), and definitely have not been exercising. However, thanks to the magic that is breastfeeding, I have still lost 15lbs! I only have 3 more to go until I reach my pre-Charlie weight.

    Then 20 more for my pre-Leo weight, then 20 more for my goal weight....*sigh*

  • I've lost 5 lbs since the beginning of February! Woohoo :) I weigh in tomorrow, so we'll see how much more I've lost then...although DH and I had pizza for lunch, so I probably un-did anything I did this week.
  • I've hit a wall with my weight loss.  I was  losing about a pound a week and had lost a total of 8 pounds 2 weeks ago.  Then nothing.  I've actually even gained a pound this week.  I know I haven't been eating as well as I should, but I've been eating better than I used to and still exercising.  I'm so frustrated.  I still have 12, well 13 now, pounds to go. Maybe with starting to teach Zumba classes on Saturday, some of the weight will start moving again.

    BTW, Way to go bobcatsteph!

    I gained 4 pounds on a work trip this week, so I have some work to do.  I was at a 6 year low before then, though, so I'm hoping to get back there soon.  Back on my diet tomorrow!

    me too.  I was doing so good too :(  I bought P90X for DH's b-day so we're starting that next week.  I hope I can stick to it.  I suck.

  • I too heart food and haven't lost any weight. i'm still 6 lbs away from my goal weight and my goal date (my 30th bday) is quickly approaching. i've done really well on going to bodypump twice a week, but haven't been doing any cardio.

    i think my coworkers don't want me to not lose any weight because they do things like go on mcdonalds runs and throw, yes literally throw, candy into my office when they walk by. sigh.

  • Bobcat, that is so awesome! 

    You would post this on the day I have a burger and fries for lunch.  I have not lost any more weight.  I have been going to gym pretty regularly, and that is when my weight loss stopped.  I think my body is afraid it won't have enough fuel to make breastmilk any more so its holding on.  Trust me, its not muscle gain that is keeping my weight the same.

  • I'm sorry. I haven't been doing very good, and then all this with my dad, and I just completely stopped posting. And thanks to funeral food, I think I've probably gained 10 pounds in the past week. Crying
  • I haven't lost anything :(  I really don't need to lose that much, but I really need to tone some things, and it's not happening.  I really want to fit in a particular pair of jeans, but I just don't see that happening any time soon.  I've been doing the Wii Active 30 day thing, but it's hard to keep myself motivated when I'm so frustrated.

    But, congrats to everyone losing!  That's so great!

    Don't be sorry! We completely understand. And it's comfort food - enjoy the 10 pounds while you can! That food will be gone soon enough.

     I lost 6 pounds in January. Then I had the oral surgery experience from hell and spent a week and bed whining and gained 12 pounds. I think some of it must have been the medication, because I lost all the 12 pounds this week. So I'm back to where I started in the beginning of February, and totally out of shape on top of that. In other words ... I feel like I totally lost a month because of one stupid surgery. Boo. However, I have been really good about eating this week. Not the best food, but good portions. Next week ... back to the gym.

  • in January I lost 4 pounds.... but I'm feeling pretty fluffy these days and have been too scared to step on the scale.  I'm positive I've gained those four pounds (plus more) back.

    ughhhh.

    20 pounds is still my goal!!!
