Mine know right from left. They will only take food/treats from your left hand.

    we can point our fingers and shelby and say BANG!  and she'll lay down.  It doesn't happen often... but maybe the only reason she lays down is b/c we say BANG so loud and she is scared! lol

    I don't have dogs yet, but my one cat will jump on command. not just jump up, but if you tap your shoulder/chest, he will jump from the ground to your chest to be held.

    pure talent I say.

    Carl does this too & it's my favorite!  He always dies a sloooooowwwwww, agonizing death.

    Mickey can catch treats in the air.  I also can balance them on his nose and he can flip them up and catch them.

    Oh, this reminds me, it's totally not a trick, just her killer instinct, but Biscuit can catch flies and other bugs out of the air. No fly swatters needed here. It's just bad when she wants to hunt a bee.

    Fenway knows that when we set the house alarm, it's bedtime... so if we want him to go upstairs all we have to do is loudly say "beep beeeeeeeeep!" and off he runs.  LOL.

    For months and months, everytime I would get home from work, my dog Blue would get so excited and I would slap my thighs and he would jump really high and i would catch him.  Then one time, I wasn't paying attention and Blue tried to jump but since I wasn't looking he slammed down to the ground and hasn't done the "trick since!"

    We also tell Blue to "find brother" or "find Buster" who likes to hide throughout the house, and he will run right to Buster everytime and come back to us so excited.  It's really cute.
