When you switched to formula instead of BFing how soon did you see a change in your LO and how quickly did you go from BFing to all formula? Just not sure how quickly to make the switch for LO's sake.

My poor little girl is just having such a hard time and I am honestly thinking I may have to make the switch.  Regardless of anything I do something is making her really gassy/fussy and in pain :(

    hey girl,

     It took me a couple months before she was 100% bottle fed. We started easing her into it with formula every feeding that way it didn't kill my boobs and then after a month of that we did formula all day and I nursed her the last feeding at night and first thing in the morning. It was good way for us to do it. Make sure you are giving her enough mylicon after each feeding to help with the gas. We still give her mylicon every now and then. It's hard to switch but it was the best thing for her tummy. I hope it helps your little girl too! Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thank you! I'll let you know if I have any other questions.  It is just hard coming to terms with the fact that we'll likely have to do this, but I want to do what is best for her even if that means transitioning to formula.

    I know, it is so hard. I totally know what you are going through. Just do whatever is going to be best for her. I had to remind myself and still do that this choice was the best for her. Im glad we did it but I get so envious of my girlfriends still BFing!

    I hope I can do it longer with the next babe!
