  We bought 5...2 from our niece, 2 from our friend's daughter, and 1 from the neighbor. I'm planning on sending at least 3 of the boxes in to work with DH so I'm not tempted!

  My co-worker buys like $300 worth because she hates soliciting people for orders.  So, I basically have an endless supply.  I'm going to give her $20 (as a first installment) when they arrive next week.

  that's ok....maybe just don't eat them all at once

  DD(9)DD(5.5)DS(3)DS(born 2/1/11) July 2006, lost a baby at 8 weeks, natural miscarriage , May 2009 lost Zoe Eliana at 17 weeks no reason known, possible under developed organs. Lost two more babies in September 2009 at 7 wks 4 days. Had myomectomy surgery to remove a large fibroid in November 2009.

  We bought three, and they lasted us like a week.  I do not see anything wrong with ordering six.  I wish I had!
  
  Besides, there are totally fewer cookies per box than there used to be.

  I think I stocked up this year because I usually only order a couple and then DH says "why did you only order me one box of Samoas?"  the thin mints are mine and I don't share.  they are going straight to the freezer when I get home!

  now if I can just not eat all of them over the weekend.....

  This is making me want to go rip open the box of thin mints in the freezer!!  lol  I bought 5 boxes this year.  3 are gone...lol

  We ordered more than that.   I stick them in the freezer for the rest of the year and spread them out that way.  I figure since you can only buy them once a year, you may as well stock up.

  I ordered 4 boxes from one of my friends at work not realizing that DH also ordered 4 boxes from a co-worker!!  We totally attempt to freeze them but for some reason, they NEVER seem to make it into the freezer

  I ordered 6 boxes too!  But I have mine spread out so I don't feel as bad about buying so many.  I have 3 boxes at home, 1 box at work, and 2 boxes are still on their way.  I figure when I get the 2 that are still coming, I'll have polished off a box or two at home.
