My x-boyfriend from like 5 years ago sent me an email wanting me to explain to him why I broke up with him because he is having trouble with his current girlfriend and needs some insight into why he is such a bad boyfriend.

I could probably write a book about how crappy of a guy this person was. But WTF!? I haven't seen or talked to him since we broke up.

This is sorta out of left field. Maybe he was thinking I would be brutally honest with him?

Ya I gotta agree with the other Ladies. Sounds like trouble. I would just delete.

Definitely weird though, that would catch me off guard too.

If that had happened to me with someone I was FB friends with, I would probably e-mail him back because we still had a friendship after breaking up. But I'm weird like that and didn't have many long or "real" relationships before DH.

But if your gut is telling you something is fishy, delete, delete, delete!

Yes I had that happen not too long after I got engaged, except, it was a guy I just dated ( was never a bf). He wanted to know why we never became gf/bf. I never responded.
