Dh has an appointment for his

in 3rd Trimester

VASECTOMY!! Saying that makes me feel old for some reason. Anyways, DH is a nervous wreck and I think it's because he has done too much research online. Is anyone else planning on taking this route? We have a 4 yro and I know this is my last baby, for sure!! Also, I'm looking forward to living BC free!

    We have a deal... if I have this baby vaginally, DH will have a vasectomy... if I have to have a c-section for some reason, I'm just going to get my tubes tied.

    We are trying to decide whether it is best/ cheaper for us to take that route or the tubal route. The sucky thing is the hospital Iam delivering at does not do any type of sterilization so they cannot do it while Iam there.

    This is our first baby and we definitely want a couple more, but when we are done, DH has VOLUNTEERED to get a vasectomy. His cousin had her tubes tied and it was a huge mess, he doesnt understand why any guy would let their wife go through all that pain and recovery time when it is so easy for the men.

    My DH refuses to get a V!! But I also do not want to get my tubes tied yet even though we both agreed this would be our last baby....we're still young so what if we change our minds 4-5yrs down the road??  SO I'm getting an IUD, and if after the 5yrs are up and we still are both OK with not having more kids then one of us is getting snipped.

    DH will be going in for the big V as soon as this baby is here.  We both decided this is our last baby and him having a V is easier than me having my tubes tied.  It will be so nice not having to worry about birth control.

    My DH wants a vasectomy, but I'm trying to talk him out of it. We're both so young, and I already know I would like to have another baby a couple years down the road. This is my first, but he has a daughter from a previous relationship, so he says we're done.

    I've at least got him to agree to just let me go on birth control for a couple years until we're sure we don't want another one.

    getting your tubes tied is a lot harder to reverse.
