So we just started putting B in his highchair to eat. I think DH only puts him in it for the solids portion of his meal (we feed bottle then solids together) but I put him in for both.
I wonder how do I burp him? I used to feed about 5 oz, burp him, then the remainig milk plus solids then burp. But I dont want to take him out of the HC after his bottle and then put him back in. Or should I? I was actually attempting to burp him as he sat but it was a ridiculous scene! So just now, I fed him everything and waited to burp when all finished. He burped just fine - no major puke session as i feared.
Is this what you guys do? At what age do we stop burping? I'll be burping him at 5 years old I'm sure!
Re: Burping and Eating in High Chair - How?!
They start to burp on their own - usually Grant will burp automatically when he is done eating and I pick him up out of the high chair.
I don't burp him anymore - he does it on his own.
Me neither.
