This is an Advanced TTTC group those who have been trying 3+ years and/or have multiple failed /IVFs, etc. I just ask that everyone please use good judgment when asking to join...in other words, if you are still in the IUI stage or have been on this journey less than two years, this is probably not the group for you.

There is no doubt that this whole TTTC process is painful, but I also do believe that there is a very special kind of support that this specific group can offer to each other, and it is intended as a "safe haven" for those of us who are in that bottom 1% of the bottom 1%.

just to update. i poas this morning and got a faint faint second line. i went to quest for an early beta, but won't have my results until tomorrow.

as for the question of the day...someone who knew that we had gone through at least 4 ivf cycles told me that i should invest in a fertility monitor, and then i'd get pg. as if!

Still on a break - may be a FET in August. Missing my baby today - I would of been 18 weeks today.

The most horrible thing people have said to me is that I can borrow their husbands because my husband has low sperm count. I have heard this several times.

QOTD: I've been lucky. No one has actually said anything that bad about my IF aside from 'just relax' and the like.

Update: Hysteroscopy was last week. Nothing was found! It was totally easy and painless. I didn't even have to take Tylenol. I see the RE next Thursday so hopefully we get the show on the road! As for now, I'm stuck at home with Bronchitis.

m&m2006 - Hoping your results are accurate. Best of luck.

After a long delay due to work schedules, DH is scheduled for SA and I'm going for SHG finally. Hoping all is good to go with results, so come April-May we are on for IVF#1. So excited and anxious. This is our last result. Really appreciate any prayers or support that all plays out on time. Tired of delaying our future due to work obligations.

Update: Beta #2 was drawn this morning. I'll post the results as soon as I know them.

QOTD: "Sorry this cycle didn't work for you, but now maybe we can get pregnant together!" - said by a friend who at that point was planning to start trying in 6 months. Yeah, if I didn't love her so much I would have throat punched her!

Update: I started follistim Tuesday night, 175iu. Go back for a follie check on Monday. Maybe this will be our BFsP????

Adoption front: our first home study visit is March 5! We are excited and nervous.

QOTD: Hmmmm....so many, hard to choose just one. Probably when an ex-friend said that losing the babies and our IF is not the end of the world and it doesn't give me the right to be a b!tch. Yea. That's why she is an ex friend.

Well, I had an interesting conversation with my doc. While he wants to do a Lap and another HSG, he also wants to do a Ovarian Wedge Resection and we (my DH) are having doubts about the necessity about it. My surgery isn't scheduled until the end of May, so we have at least 2 more cycles before that happens, but still, do I really need it?

qotd: I used to always get that I was "so young" and that I had plenty of time, but once I tell them that it has been over 4 years, my age doesn't seem to matter. Age is only relative in the eyes of the beholder. I normally just smile and nod to any stupid comments I get.

Sorry I haven't posted in a bit. We are on a break right now, trying on our own. I need to find a new doc and for some reason I am overwhelmed with the thought of even looking right now.

QOTD: Hmmmm, probably a recent one from my gma. She has trouble filtering what should and should not be said. She does not know everything that we are going through, but she does know that I ended up in the hospital back in Oct. My friend and I were out to lunch with her and my gpa and we were talking about my friend's baby. She says, well Flutterby can't have kids. I looked at her with my mouth hanging open. And then she goes onto to say that I need to stop trying because I don't need to worry her and my mom like that again. And then my gpa says, well, they can always adopt.

It's a generational thing partly I am sure, but it hurt.

GL to all our vets with betas coming up. I hope there is a HUGE exodus. GL to Kiki with her fert report!!!
