Since my gyno doesn't deliver babies, I had to choose a new OB and everyone I know gave me recommendations. So, I called a few to see who accepted my insurance. The first doc gave me an appointment for late March, which I'll be around 9 months. My coworkers urged me to call their doc because he sees you sooner. This one gave me an appointment for next week!
Should I go to both? Should I just wait until the 9 weeks? MIL did some bloodwork 2 weeks ago to confirm BFP and she checked everythgin else and I just had my yearly pap a few days before I found out I was pregnant.

I agree with pp. You never know if you don't like the first dr.
My first appointment was at 8 weeks. I think that's pretty standard. It's nice to go early because you get some kind of a confirmation, which you already got from the bloodwork. The downside of going too early is that if they do an ultrasound at the first visit (some drs do, some don't) you may not see anything at 6 weeks. That doesn't necessarily mean anything but I know it's nerveracking. At 8 weeks, I was able to totally see my little gummy bear with his heart beating nice and strong. I'm not sure what the ultrasound would have looked like it I would have gone a couple weeks earlier.
Me too before I moved to Miramar - loved them
Be careful about going to 2 b/c your insurance may not cover both, I would call them first and make sure.
I was a little worried about this. I know insurances can be tough and since they're only 3 weeks apart IDK if it will be covered. I would love to go next week for some reassurance that everything is fine, but I know I probably won't get the u/s until the other appt since I don't have any history/complications at this point.
The doc appt for next week is with Dr. Kellogg. He's with a group at Baptist and that's where they deliver (don't remember group name). The second doc is Dr. Phillips in South Miami, but I'm not sure where he delivers. Any information or experiences on either doc would be greatly appreciated!
