I just read about this in Real Simple and downloaded it -- pretty cool! It's called Cardstar, and it is free. It allows you to enter the barcode numbers for all of those grocery store, drug store, bookstore, etc. membership cards you have. From the numbers, it recreates the barcodes. If you are at the store and you don't have your membership card, you can actually scan the barcode on your phone!

I'm going to check this out. That would be so convenient. My poor wallet can't handle all those darn cards that you get from every store. Thanks!
FYI: You don't have to get the data plan. We put a text restriction on our phones. We can't send texts and no texts can come in. Saves us the data plan fee. We figured the people who would send us texts have email capabilities on their phones anyways, so why bother with a text when you can just email just as easily.

That's cool! Do you suppose that app would work on the iPod touch as well? I know some of them are interchangeable.
