We are moving April 1st and baby is due May 24th. I'm not really nervous about it because LO will be in our room in PNP for a few months. BUT... I'd still like to have everything organized and ready. Am I alone here?!?!?!
I am due April 1st and although I have the closet, dresser and changing table set up and ready. I won't have my crib until the end of April So I feel not totally ready.
We have a crib set up in the nursery and a bassinet in the bedroom. Neither have mattresses yet and we haven't had time or energy to do the nursery all cute. Also, we have no storage space so there are still Christmas decorations leaning against the wall in there. So, you are just fine. We will probably be moving in May anyway so it's hard to do a nursery when I plan on having him in the bassinet for the first few months anyway....
We only have the crib set up. The dresser is still in the box. We still have a few essentials that we need to buy within the next couple of weeks to make sure it arrives.
so you're not alone. You still have a long way to go.
I'm nowhere near organized or ready. We're moving about 2 mo after my due date, so I don't really see the point. I was debating even buying furniture but I think I'll get a crib, a dresser, and a glider. Not that any of that has been ordered or anything.
I've made 3 baby purchases so far - 2 outfits (too cute to pass up), a crib sheet (on clearance) & a PNP (also on clearance). That's it.
I'm a planner by nature so I'd like to have everything organized & ready but I've also come to realize I'm fairly weird/superstitious about having a whole bunch of baby stuff ready so early. I'm slowly beginning to actually believe I'm going to get a baby at the end of this so I'm warming up to the idea of actually purchasing things.
I'm due May 17th and I feel the same as you. I can't wait to get it done and wash all the clothes! Of course, my shower isn't until March 13th so I have to wait, but we're doing the carpet and chair rail and its already painted. I can't wait for my shower!!
I am due May 11th, and I have no idea where we will be living. We haven't picked out furniture or bought anything for baby yet. I have no idea when my panic might set in!
Here, let me help you with your anxiety: my baby is 1 week old and her nursery was just painted yesterday (so obviously she can't use it) AND our basement remodel is being finished this week, too (nice, quiet drywall mudding). Our house is a total construction zone. And the baby doesn't care or notice.
We won't have a nursery until August.... So.... No. Not at all. Lol
LOL.
You look fantastic BTW. Love the siggy.
Awww, *blush* Thanksss.
Your LO is too sweet. Are you ready for 2u1?!
As ready as I'll ever be I guess! DD is going through some major separation anxiety right now. I hope she gets through it before LO comes, that might be a task to carry around a one year old and a newborn. Can you imagine?!?
We have absolutely NOTHING done. It is starting to bug me though. We have to: paint, get new window treatments, assemble furniture (crib, changing table and dresser), organize, etc.
Literally just finished today. DH has been chuckling at my insane need to have things done in there, considering he's sleeping in our room at first. Ahhh...nesting.
I have a lot of the pieces in there, but its not ready and I'm still missing a lot of important things. I'm just not going to stress about it though, because we have a place for LO to sleep and anything we really need we can go and buy.

Well I'm 37 weeks and we just rearanged our room to accomidate the crib! I'm getting the crib this weekend... and right now everything feel's like it's in shambles. I'm not too worried yet because I'm home now from work so I've got time to do it all. GL with yours!
I am being induced on march 24th (four weeks from today) and I don't have anything in the nursery done yet. I just finished redoing the girls rooms so I could move DD#2 out of nursery. It is currently a giant storage room filled with things to go in my big baby girl garage sale.
We won't have a nursery until August.... So.... No. Not at all. Lol
LOL.

Not at all. O_O Lmao! Maybe they have a carrier where you can carry K on your back and LO on your front?

I can see it now! A double carrier, maybe I can make one and patent it. Huh, maybe something other than 2U1 can come out of this situation LOL.
We made an offer on a house like a week before DD was born, so we never even bothered to set up a crib in our old house- she just slept in the bassinet for the 5 more weeks we were in that house.
I only just did mine today. I was surprised at how quickly it all came together. It only took about 1.5 hours. DH had already painted and put together the crib so that helped.
We haven't even bought any of LO's furniture. We're renovating our apartment, so we have to wait til carpet is put down first. DH is handling all of it, so I don't know when it'll be done! I'd love to have the baby's stuff all set up.

I don't really have a nursery. We have a 1 bedroom condo and ended up dividing the living room to make a nursery nook. The furniture is there but I haven't decorated the space yet. Maybe next week I will start fixing it up.

Not alone. I am being induced in 4 weeks and our addition on our home isn't going to be complete until just before that, MAYBE.
DS is in the nursery and will stay there for as long as #2 is in our room in the bassinet.
