panic just set it

Dh walked in from work with the mail and there was a stack of 7 medical bills that all came today and after insurance we owe $2600..... all for 2 consultations at the urologist and an ultrasound/doppler. We would NEVER have gotten that dang thing had we known it would cost that much. The urologist wanted it because the SA showed motility of 34% and all the other numbers were fine. I am furious. The SA results right before IUI yesterday showed 50% motility which is normal.... so much for any more IUIs.

and if stress makes the chances of conception decrease after IUI like they say that they do there is NO chance that I will get a BFP.

    I'm sorry, that is stressful. We have gotten into the habit of asking how much EVERYTHING will cost before we do it. Meds, procedures, etc. My DH is very organzed and budget-minded so he is the one that does the asking. It's a good balance because there are times I would probably do anything suggested and in some cases may not be needed.

    I called immediately.... its correct.... if you call 1,530.00 the correct price for an ultrasound of someones balls, grr. I am going to buy an ultrasound machine and open an office ;) hahaha
