Septate Surgery Success and ?

Hi,

I had my surgery on Tuesday to remove my septate and now I guess I have a "normal" uterus and now we know the reason why I had my early losses!Now I have to heal and wait for my cycle to return, so in the meantime I am looking for some success stories. I know there was a few women who had this surgery done, please let me know if I should post this question elsewhere. Was not sure if I am considered high risk now?

Wondering who got pregnant soon after their surgery and is having an "uneventful" pregnancy now that their septate is gone?

Also I have always been 28 days and ovulating on day 15, no other problems that I am aware of, so was wondering if any one had problems with their cycle taking longer to arrive? Just worried that my ovulation will be all messed up!

I am sure I am over thinking it all......thanks for taking time out to help me!

    I had my surgery in July, and got my BFP in December of the same year. It didn't mess up my cycle at all. I had pregnancy complications, but it had nothing to do with the Septate.

    I had my septate removed and got pregnant pretty easily and soon thereafter.

     Although with this pregnancy they put a preventative cerclage in...they just don't know if it was the septate or my cervix that caused my first loss (septate was not found until second loss), but things have been pretty uneventful.

     Good luck and well wishes on getting pregnant soon and having a H&H 9 months.

    I had the surgery but didn't get pregnant for over a year since we had other issues.  So far with this pregnancy, the old septum has not even been mentioned.  The specialist said it was a "non issue" at this point.  I asked about getting a cerclage, because of the septum previously being there, and they have all said it will not cause a problem.  It has been the least of my worries with this pregnancy.
