Will you recommend yours if you are using one already? DS is already outgrowing his rear-facing only (length measurements, not weight), so we are going to start looking at convertibles. Any in particular awesome or horrible? TIA
If he's tall I would not recommend a graco comfortsport! DD1 outgrew the rear facing harness limit by 14 months (long before I wanted to turn her) and the entire darn seat by 17 months! We ended up buying a sunshine kids radian 65 for her as it was the only seat on the market that had a high harness limit and also fit in our beetle and liked it so much that we bought the newer radian for DD2! GL!

I agree with pp. Do NOT go with the comfortsport. We got it for DD and she outgrew it at 2 years. We had to buy her a new seat at that time, so I wish we would have paid more upfront for a seat that would last.
This time around my ILs have our comfortsport to use with DS and we bought the First Years True Fit. I love it. It is so much nicer than the comfortsport. I love that you don't have to re-thread the harness, and it is so easy to use once installed. I also like that the headrest is removable, so you can use it without the headrest until they are 22 pounds, which makes it fit better rear facing & more comfortable for anyone sitting in front of DS. It has a very high shell and I think it has a good chance of lasting DS until booster. I like this site for information.
