If you have this stroller, do you like it and why? Also, is it good for newborn thru toddler years? I don't want to have to buy another stroller. I don't live in the city but like that it looks like it manuevers easily and is lightweight and stylish.
Thanks!
Re: Baby Jogger City Mini
I have this stroller and love it. I have the car seat adapter (extra$50) and it was so worth it. DD is almost 5 months and im thinking of trying it out w/o the adapter next week. Im pretty sure it says to wait until the baby can support its head to use it setting up. It lies completely flat and had a 5 point harnes so you could probably used it with the baby lying down.
Its not a jogging stroller so if thats what your wanting it for look at something else.
Thanks! I don't want a jogging stroller. I mainly will use it for walking around the neighborhood and parks and for running errands. What kind of carseat do you have? I'm getting the chicco keyfit30 but I'm sure I can look at the website to make sure it's compatible.
Baby jogger is supposedly working on a car seat adapter to work with Chicco car seats that should be available in the Spring of 2010 according to their website.
We went with the City Mini even though we are suburbanites who will use it for shopping, zoo, parks (paved paths) because it is so much lighter than the other travel system strollers and the huge sunshade is a big plus for me since I'm fair, and want to offer baby as much sun protection when possible.
Im pretty sure they have, or will have an adapter for that car seat soon. I have a baby trend carseat and it sits on the bar adaptor and then has buckles that fit in the side seatbelt slots and buckles for extra protection.
The side walks in the older part of our neighborhod at pretty bumpy and the city glides over them really smoothly.
