Any medical workers/scrub wearers?

I thought scrubs would be forgiving...but of all my clothes, they're the worst!  Anyone break down and buy maternity scrubs??  They're so freakin' expenisve I'm trying to find alternatives, but I don't think I can pull off yoga pants for the next 5 months.

Re: Any medical workers/scrub wearers?

  • I got 2 pairs of maternity scrubs.  You're right - they ARE expensive.  Thankfully I only work 2 days a week where I need scrubs, otherwise I'd have to buy more since I can't imagine doing laundry that often!

I got Cherokee Flex-i-bles mat scrubs.  They're comfy and have a full panel belly.  At first the mat top was too big, so I just wore Old Navy long-sleeved t-shirts which worked fine.  I'd say at least get a pair or two of maternity scrub pants, and get cheaper matching maternity tops somewhere else if $ is an issue.

I can't imagine squeezing into any non-maternity pants right now except for a pair of sweats, which wouldn't go over too well at my office. Smile Good luck!!!

  • The pants fit me fine; the tops are just getting too short. But I only wear scrubs twice a week at work so I can get by!

  • My pants still fit, and hopefully I can wear them under my belly to the end.  I have switched my small tops to medium but only bought a few in case I end up needed larger or maternity tops towards the end.
  • Lucky for me, I can wear a plain shirt in a coordinating color instead of a scrub top so I plan to just wear maternity t-shirts when that time comes. Otherwise, I bought size L pants and hope those will just stay under my belly.
  • With my last pregnancy, I just got a few larger sized pants and wore them low under my belly with medium instead of small or extra small tops.  The only maternity scrubs I could find were ugly.
  • I got some of the Gray's Anatomy maternity scrubs. Super soft fabric and comfy, expensive though.
