She's scooting, rolling everywhere, doing The Worm, her downward-dog baby yoga pose, crawling backwards and getting wedged in places constantly. ALL of this just started in the past 3 days. Maybe it was all those steroid shots from her pneumonia?
I need 6 hands to give her a bath. She tries to crawl out of her Ducky tub. I have to hold her down. Do they make tubs with seatbelts? Changing her diaper is a workout, as is getting her dressed. As soon as I unbuckle her carseat she climbs out! WTH?! I knew she wouldnt be a little lump of cute forever but my gah...! Do you mamas all just wrestle your LOs all day long?
Re: Um, DD's moving. Now what?
Time to baby-proof
We bought DD the Northstate Superyard XT. She can crawl around and we put toys in with her. It helps keep her occupied if we need to step out of the room and we don't have to worry she's into something.
Congrats on a mobile and feeling better baby
Baby alligators, yo.
I told Jake this morning if he didn't stop flipping and crawling backwards on the changing table (i.e. kicking everything off of it) he was getting changed in his crib from now on.
Sam crabwalks.
Le Sigh.
In a matter of two weeks, DS started crawling and pulling up. We baby proofed the rooms he plays in. It prevents him from getting into too much trouble.
As for the diaper changes, I give him his baby einstein handheld music and lights toy and that keeps him occupied long enough and keeps him from rolling over and crawling away from me sans diaper.
you get used to it.
I moved DS to the big tub when he started trying ti crawl out of the baby tub. He loves the big tub!!
I have to admit that as frustrating as it is to wrangle them, the nekkid baby butt in the air is adorable.
I am fast learning how to fasten diapers upside down and blindly.
This exactly. She is a twisty little worm
Alligator wrestling is the perfect way to describe it!
She's so loud on top of it all. I was just staring at her yesterday like "are you serious? really? really?"
i love you, BOH.
