F/U on early peak (and general update)

Yep, I certainly peaked early.
Tripple lined uterine lining, measuring around 7.4. One follie on the left at 18mm.
They had me trigger as soon as I got home (good thing the meds arrived while we were at the apt), and my transfer is scheduled for next Tue.
What has us in shock, is the less than 20% success rate our RE gave us. She's never really discussed stats in depth, so this is a bit sobering. We'll still proceed with this cycle, of course, but those numbers are looking mighty bleak. I know we do not want to risk being pregnant with twins, but now I don't know what has a higher likely-hood -- putting 2 in and getting twins, or putting 1 in and getting nothing.

Good luck with everything! I hope this works for you. Try not to focus on the success rates as much (i think they gave me a 35-40% with DD and i was bummed at first). Did she say what the success rate is with 2? If it is not much different, i would stick with one.

She said transferring 2 is not doubling the stats of getting pregnant, not even 10-20% more, so while we'd have a 20% success rate w/ transferring 2, we have a 16-18% chance of success w/ just 1. That's why I'm still leaning towards transferring 1, but I'm oscillating.
