Decorating the Nursery/Crib Bedding

Anyone else having issues picking out the crib bedding for your LO? I had a nice set for DS, but can't seem to find ANYTHING i like for DD!! I'm sure that it has EVERYTHING to do with the fact that I didn't really get to decorate the nursery for DS, and we are finally buying our first home so now I have free rights to do whatever I want in DD's room. Yippee!!

My concern is also price, I hate to buy something that is going to end up back in the bag within a few months. (exactly what happened with the set purchased for DS)

Show me your DD nursery pics ladies!! I'm so excited I can't wait!!

    I bought the fabric and I'm making my own bed skirt and bumper. I'm buying a matching color sheet. It cost me about $40 vs $200 for a set.

    I would not buy a bedding set...it will end up back in the bag just like you said.  Just find a nice skirt, valance and crib sheet that you like and decorate the room to match...  maybe start by finsing some artwork you really like and matching the rest to that...

    I didn't buy a crib set, b/c it was so expensive and considering you can't even use the bumper or the quilt, it isn't worth it at all! I ended up buying lots of fitted sheets and a solid crib bed skirt and that seemed to work well. I really like pottery barn kids for furniture and bedding. But you can also find great deals at target. Good luck!
