What do BH feel like?

Are they at all like craps? All the stress over my dog's illness is giving me slight cramps this morning. This isn't BH is it? My cousin says to call the OB if I have contractions because of all the stress but I don't know how to recognize them. Thanks

    With DS my stomach would feel really tight and get really hard.  Sometimes it was just one side of my stomach that felt really hard.  It didn't hurt, just uncomfortable.

    Mine feel like my uterus turns into a hard ball. I feel it tightning and sometimes it is intense. I do not think it feels like a period cramp at all. A real contraction will stop you in your tracks...it is so much more intense than a BH.

    My stomach gets super tight, doesn't hurt, just uncomfortable ... usually only lasts 20-30 seconds.

    When I had them with DS it pretty much felt like I was being kicked really hard or he was in an uncomfortable spot.  but that's what my labor contractions felt like as well (not painful, just uncomfortable) and I didn't even realize I was in labor.  They weren't painful until my water broke.

    You could be having round ligament pain...I got cramps from 16-18 weeks and that's what it was.

    BH feel like your whole uterus tightens up for a minute, then releases.  Not really painful, or like cramps, just tight.  If you put your hand on your stomach, you should be able to feel it become hard as a rock.  You could be having RLP.
