SInce this is #2 we won't have a registry but we are getting a Double Stroller for ourselves and the Grandparents are wanting to pitch in....we didn't ask they offered, and so we are getting a nicer double stroller by combining the money
this will either be the travel system or the dresser... dressers are expensive brand new! but i want the little lamb swing at BRU it is like $150 so that would have to be next on the list!
The double stroller I'm looking at is around $400- not sure if I will register for that or not b/c it may not be available that the locations I registered at.
It wasn't on our registry, per say, but DH's parents insisted on buying us our entire nursery set (crib, armoire, dresser/changing table), and they gave us a rocking chair they had in their house. All we bought was the mattress. My Mom bought all the bedding.
I don't remember exact prices, but most expensive was my breat pump. Which I knew no one would buy and I bought myself. Least expensive probably was little things like wash clothes etc.

the more exp. items are the crib, changing table and jogging stroller. Tried to keep it lowers in price so that we were more likely to get all the essentials, and so that if we dont get it then we can afford it
POS+April 2009-M/c May 2009, POS+July 2009-M/c Aug 2009, POS+ Novemeber 2009 -Baby Boy Charlie DOB 07/06/2010, POS+July 2011-M/c and D&C Aug 2011, POS+Dec 2011 -Baby Boy Ethan DOB 07/27/2012, POS+Aug 2013-TWIN BOYS! Jack and Miles born March 23rd 2014!!
I'm not registering this time because I think it's tacky since I just had a baby 2 years ago.
Buuuuut with K, the most expensive item was the $150 Lansinoh Double Electric Breast Pump, which my grandma bought. Can't remember the least expensive item specifically, but it was probably a pack of receiving blankets or some wash cloths. I mean, I registered at Target, so nothing was tooooooo expensive.
Most expensive: Chicco Keyfit 30 Carseat, $180 ($180 for the forward facing Graco Nautilis that we registered for too, followed by the $140 swing, $130 Combi stroller, then $90 for the bedding and $80 for the crib mattress). I figure 6 bigger ticket items are decent, I have 4 aunts, a MIL, a sister, a mom, a sister in law, and very very close friends who all want bigger items to buy. My mom and sister also want to get me a crib for $250 (their price range not mine).
Also I reigstered for Flip Daypacks for cloth diapers... 5 of them at 50 dollars a piece... so if someone bought them all together (whcih someone already did), it was $250 for them but if someone was interested they didn't *have* to spend the whole $250.
Cheapest item is probably hangers, for $2.50

$499 for the Baby Jogger Select (agh! i know BUT we are ony getting the one stroller, and it converts to a double once we have a second) Not really expecting anyone to buy it for us, but we will use our 10% off completion coupon for it
Most expensive...breast pump at $279 (I don't expect anyone to buy, but I want to use the registry completion on it, but if someone does buy it, all the better)
Least expensive...probably nipples for the Tommee Tippee bottles
Honestly...I am using my registry as a "do not forget" list for myself LOL. I have put everything on it including formula and breast pads. haha. People can chose to help out with whatever they want, but in the end, I need that list so I have everything. The most expensive thing is the crib of course (its only about $250). But we do have several other high priced items: highchair, swing, travel system.

I'm doing the same thing. I have every intention of scouring CraigList for a lot of the pricey play items (swings, bouncers, etc) even though they're on there.
$349.99 for an IRONMAN stroller, and $279.99 for the Britax marathon.
We didn't even register for the nursery furniture (we'll buy this) and breast pump (my mom asked me why & I told her I didn't really want to be thinking of dear aunt so and so when I hook it up to pump...). I'm working under the assumption that no one will buy the 2 more expensive, They're mostly on there in case someone wants to surprise me or the 10% completion. I figure - why not?
