Nope not yet! I didn't even start on my LOST recap b/c DH has an interview at the University I work at and I just had to walk him to the building. Now I'm soooooo nervous for him. Ahhhh. I hope he gets it Then me, my sister, AND my DH will work here.... hehe.

Anyway, what did you think??

The light house was pretty cool but I hate that Jack ruined it... I would have love to see what else was in there. Looked like a pyramid or temple of some sort too, right?

I'm wondering who the boy's mom is? The girl Jack saved and married? My friend seems to think it's Juliet b/c Jack met her in med school.

I was getting ready to post the same thing! I really want to talk about possible spoiler stuff re: Jack's non-island reality but it would def. ruin if not everyone watched last night (it WAS women's figure skating!)

I hate that he destroyed it too. I agree that it looked like a temple as well.

I was kind of annoyed by the whole Jack-has-a-kid thing because isn't this reality supposed to be what would have been if the plane never crashed? I just find it REALLY hard to believe that for however long they were on the island that Jack NEVER mentions having a kid, or being a parent or even hints at it. I understand it's the last season and the writers are trying to tie up loose ends, and I didn't mind the touching storyline with his son, it just doesn't fit with the other seasons. I wonder if this is part of something else -- like it ISN'T just post plane crash but rather a completly alternate life?

DH thinks that the boys mom is Juliet for sure. I'm not convinced...since he had a fiance before he went to the island etc. Maybe they were never supposed to be together etc. etc. and that storyline just played out differently.

Lighthouse - I'm just wondering who the hell is at 108 degrees!? Who's not on the island that we've seen before? Is it Widmore perhaps? Desmond? hmm...

I'm thinking (hoping!!) its Desmond, too. I totally agree with all the PP's saying how annoying it was that Jack broke the mirrors- it seems like he always does something irrational like that! Annoying!

But let's dissect the wheel for a minute. If this is Jacob's lighthouse, then it looks like maybe he was tracking candidates on this wheel, right? So, I hate to eat my words that I said on last week's blog comments, but maybe Flocke was lying a bit? Even if he was lying, he was sort of telling the truth! But maybe the wall IS Flocke's wall and not Jacob's? Maybe they both have a list of names and are each crossing people off the list? Maybe the battle has come down to these 6 Candidates? (5 if you don't include Locke) We do see the same numbers associated with Jarrah, Ford, Kwon and Shephard. But guess what? There is also an Austin on there at 51 and not crossed off! What does that mean? Is this someone that maybe MIB isn't tracking and Jacob is? Or did we just not see her on the wall? Why wouldn't Flocke show Sawyer Kate's name? I think we actually see a 108 too and it's associated with a crossed off Wallace. Who is Wallace? It could be no one important or it could be a name I am totally forgetting from past seasons. We also see Rousseau on this list pretty close to Jack's name. But I think we saw her on the wall too. Here's a bunch of pictures of the wheel for dissection!

I'm hoping it's Desmond, too. I've read that he supposedly plays an important role this final season, I hope he's back soon! Count me in on being annoyed at Jack for breaking the mirrors, but then again, I'm usually annoyed at Jack, lol. Though, I did feel bad for him in the alternate-reality.

OH! Also this morning on Phx's morning show "Johnjay and Rich" they brought in a Japanese translator to translate what that dude said to Harley in the hallway when Harley was like "You go back to the courtyard". After he says something in Japanese and Hurley asks Jacob what he said and Jacob says "You don't want to know". Well, what he said was "I don't know who is protecting you, but you are lucky because I would cut your head off"

I think the alt reality is supposed to be if the island blew up, not if the plane didnt crash, if the island blew up then jacob wouldnt have effected any of them, and people who went to the island before (post 70s or whatever) arent on the island so it gonna change stuff on the alt reality

It isn't just if the plane never crashed but basically there are no others or Drama initiative on the island.

This changes a lot and the people from the island seem to be everywhere now so other things may have gotten modified.

I think the mom is Juliette also. I think Jack has some sense that things are 'off' in his life at home. He didn't remember his appendix being taken out??? And he always looks like something is tugging at his memory.

I think the 'at home' lives are what would have been if they weren't touched by Jacob. Jack was touched after his first solo surgery and that was certainly long enough in the past that he could have a 12-13 year old son if not touched. I could be wrong since Locke was touched after he was pushed out the window by his dad and in his episode they make a reference that he still has a relationship with his father...unless he thinks someone else is his father..I think that will remain to be seen.

I also think that Jacob 'knew' that Jack would break the mirror. He said to Hurley that some can be told and other have to figure it out on their own. I think it was Jacob letting Jack look at home and that he is going to peice his two lives together and be the new 'Jacob'. Jack has been the leader the whole time so it make sense to me that he would be the Defender in the end.

YEP. But that is confusing because we didn't see her name in the cave with Sawyer AND Hurley made a point of saying Kate wasn't invited on this lighthouse adventure.

Didnt richard visit locke when he was a kid in the orginal reality? So maybe the change has something to do with that not happening anymore?

FWIW, he had his appendix taken out on the island.
