DH... was just in a car accident...

He was side swiped pretty bad driving home from the gym... It was a hit and run.  He is pulled over right now on the side of side road calming down... He is okay.. just freaking out and not sure if he should call the cops or not.

    Call the police!  I'm glad he's okay.  But definitely call the police.  That way they can tell him to go home or whatever, but they may want to come out.  Better to be safe than sorry.

    Glad he's ok!  So scary.  Definitely have him call the cops since he'll need a police report for insurance.  Hopefully they will also be able to catch the a$$.

    OMG! I am glad he is okay! He should definitely call the police! Does he have a description of the car? Also, you will need the police report for insurance purposes.

    Oh man, glad he's okay.  Like pp's said have him call the police so he has the report for insurance.  Hope he gets home soon.

    My husband is a cop and he says to call... you'll want a report and if the guy left anything behind, like paint scratches and bumper parts, and they happen to pull a guy over a day from now where everything matches, they'll have the guy; it happens all the time! Im happy he is okay!!!

    yes, call the cops. They'll be irritated and tell him so, but who cares. That's their job.

    scary!! glad you husband wasn't hurt at all but what a pain in the butt! can't believe the person ran off! definitely report to the police!

    Definitely glad he's alright.  Best advice to give you is definitely call the cops.  For his insurance purposes they will need to see that a police report was filed, it can help prevent his rates from going up.
