I am so frustrated! My son is becoming so picky! It's difficult to get him to eat meat and he used to love veggies and now is refusing them. I keep offering these items every day, in hopes he changes his mind or his taste buds change, but he wants nothing to do with any of this stuff. He would live on yogurt, pasta and fruit if I let him. Any advice on how to get him to come around? He was awake last night for 2 hours and I couldn't figure out why...now that I think more about it, it might have been because he was hungry because he didn't have much to eat for dinner last night. HELP!
Re: Help with a picky 20 month old!
My DD is only 12 months so not to picky yet but- you could mix almost any veggie in with plain whole milk yogurt. DD eats this daily for lunch- I mix in avacado, carrots/cantalope, sweet potato, squash and she loves it. I also mix a little tahina and sometimes ground nuts/seeds for a complete protein. We are vegetarian so I don't know about the meat but if he doesn't want it he could get his protein plenty of over ways for now- have you tried tofu? Beans?
