I am so excited to put a shabby chic nursery together for my baby girl. Would love to see photos of anyone who has done the same!! And check this one out, SO cute!!
I did this route for a boys room, a bit vintage. I should say it is a work in progress. It is on greens, so pretty gender neutral. I really enjoy finding little "treasures" to put on the shelves online, at second hand and vintage stores. I found some really great finds for cheap-some needed some painting. For example I got lots of cute baskets for hanging on the wall (flat backed baskets) from goodwill for $2-3.00, then painted them white. It is pretty fun I must say.
We are kind of going with Shabby Chic colors except for the wall which is a light bright green. The bedding is by Serena and Lily called Natasha and the furniture is all white which we love. Plus some blue and pink accessories. I will post when this is all done!
Here is my inspiration except my walls are a tad bit lighter. I have also bought the candy stripe bedding set from Target's Shabby Chic line. That;s all I have so far! I'm so excited!
I had such a hard time finding the perfect bedding but I think I will be really happy with what we're ordering. She's making the crib skirt, quilt, and a custom monogrammed pillow for around $200. We will use the basic sheets from BRU and we're not doing a bumper.
I did Shabby Chic for our DD. I used Target's Cottage Chic with pale blue walls and cherry wood furniture. I had the bed skirt altered with pale pink chenille to make it really long to the floor - turned out really cute and really loved the bedding for such a reasonable price!
We are also doing Shabby Chic for our DD. We are doing a darker shade of Tiffany blue walls, espresso crib from walmart the baby mod cadence collection with off white wooden accent furniture from ikea, chandelier and the bedding is from Target Shabby Chic collection the candy version. I am handmaking her crib skirt in pink lace but we have yet to get a glider. My brothers girlfriend is handpainting a tree with love birds as well. Im so excited to finish and take pictures!

Thanks! I found the table at a garage sale for $10 and painted it blue.
We are also using this adorable bedding. Although we have a white crib and other white wicker furniture. I painted the walls pink and green with a white chair rail in the middle. Its too early to know the gender of our baby, so I am crossing my fingers that its a girl!

Re: Shabby Chic, anyone?
I'm sort of going this route! I want blue walls, we got antique white furniture, and i want to incorporate this lamp somewhere:
Other than that, I'm still searching ideas! I haven't found just the right bedding yet...
Me!
