2nd Trimester

Anyone here have more than 1 kid & share a room??

Help me out here. :0)

My DS will share a bedroom w/ his sister for a year or so - until we move to the 3rd floor.

I am a nervous wreck about it & keep thinking that they will wake each other up.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

  • We are in the same boat.  DS will share a room with LO but I'm trying not to worry about it right now because LO will be in our room for a while since I plan on BFing again.  DS didn't start sleeping in his crib in his room until about 6 months.

  • Mine share.  It's not bad....DD tends to wake DS up when she goes to bed more than him waking her up overnight.  DD sleeps like the dead once she's asleep though.

    White noise helps a TON.

We kept him in our room for the first 3 months until he was only waking once or twice a night.  But it's been fine.

  • She will be in my room for about 4 months - I am also nursing. My room is right next to DS's. I use white noise in his room already - man I hope that is all it takes. LOL
  • baby boy will be moving in with DD after 6 months-year.  It all depends on how long we decide to co-sleep this time.

I'm actually excited for them to be sharing a room.  I'm sure they'll be little partners in crime. ;)

Awww that is one way to look at it. :)

  • just make sure you don't have any unsafe toys loose at night...DD likes to 'help' by giving DS toys in his crib. I usually go into find several stuffed animals, extra blankets, etc shoved through his crib rails.

  • Our 3 and 4 year old girls share a room and probably will for a long time. I shared a room with my sister until I was 16 and we're 3 years apart. Wasn't a big deal.
